i'd rather be outside

Mountains don't care about my emails.

Nature's way of saying hello.

The canyon echoed my happiness back.

Out here where the air tastes cleaner.

Wildflowers and wide open skies.

Dew drops and slow mornings.

The mountains are calling and I have no signal.

Sunlight through the trees hits different.

Just me, the trees and a whole lot of quiet.

Canopy of green, nothing but calm.

Woke up to birds, not alarms.

The world looks better from up high.

Collecting sunsets and pinecones.

Summit reached, snacks earned.

Birdsong is my favourite playlist.
