CaptionsForIG was made for that pause.

Why we started

We noticed the same thing kept happening to us and to everyone we knew: people had great moments and nothing to say about them. The caption sites we found were cluttered, full of pop-ups, or stuffed with the same tired lines everyone had already used. Finding one good caption felt like digging through a drawer of tangled chargers.

So we built the site we wished existed: clean, fast and organised the way people actually post. Birthday? There’s a page for that. Beach day, gym selfie, graduation, golden hour, night out with the squad? One tap and you’re there.

What makes us different

Every caption here is original. We write them ourselves, and we keep them short, easy to copy, and true to how people really talk online.

We also wanted it to be effortless. Tap Copy and the caption is ready to paste. Tap Image and it becomes a picture you can post straight to your story.

CaptionsForIG will always be free to use. No account and no sign-ups, and you never need to credit us, although we love it when you tag us.
