deep in the woods, far from my inbox

Muddy boots are proof of a good day.

The canyon echoed my happiness back.

Trees are the best listeners.

Quiet trails, and my thoughts finally went quiet too.

Summit reached, snacks earned.

Wildflowers and wide open skies.

Hiking boots and happy hearts.

Slow down and listen to the trees.

Following the sound of the waterfall.

Green, gold and glowing.

Found my peace on a mountain top.

Soft grass, softer thoughts.

Earth's got the best views.

Every mountain looks different from the top.

A butterfly landed on me and I've never felt so chosen.
